De API dekking zegt iets over de mogelijkheden om verschillende koppelingen te bouwen. Echter, de mogelijkheden tot het maken van een specifieke koppeling zijn natuurlijk ook sterk afhankelijk van de wensen en eisen voor individuele use-cases.

Laatste ontwikkelingen bij de Acumatica API

Acumatica introduceerde in 2017 een contract-based REST API als opvolger van de oudere screen-based services. De API wordt halfjaarlijks uitgebreid met nieuwe entiteiten en versies. Webhook-ondersteuning, OAuth 2.0 en uitgebreide payroll-, service- en commerce-endpoints zijn sindsdien toegevoegd.

Laatste ontwikkelingen bij de VTEX API

VTEX startte in 2000 in Brazilië en lanceerde zijn eerste REST API's samen met het SaaS-platform. In 2020 introduceerde VTEX het composable IO-framework en vanaf 2022 verschoof de focus naar headless storefronts, Faststore en Intelligent Search als managed services.
